Crowd Sponsoring @ GFaH
One activity we gladly do when are are not physically in Uganda, we try to help as much as we can to find sponsors for orphans @ Good Future and Hope.
Since a few months, GFaH is offering 10 emergency beds for kids found in the streets without family. Although they are engaged in intensive search for close family members, in numerous cases they cannot be found and the kids will remain as orphans in the school and the dormitories of GFaH.
For the temporary shelter as well as for the permanent stay, kids need financial sponsorships.
GFaH offers full as well as partial monthly and yearly sponsorships. If you are interested to become a sponsor, check the GFaH Website or contact us and we are happy to provide you more information.
Hot Tea for a half burnt down village in Uganda - Fundraising Activity
One of the most emotional moments for us during our trip to Uganda in 2019 was when first heard and then saw with our own eyes that our friend Adolf´s village that was hit by a terrible tragedy: a truck full of gasoline took the curve too fast, crashed into a bus, exploded, caught fire and burned half of the village down. 30 people died.
Locals have not only lost their children and beloved ones who died in the fire, but also their warehouses with clothes and food, their shops to sell food and supplies….and are literally sleeping on the street without anything now.
on top of that, one of the electricity poles burned down so that they don´t even have electricity at the moment. Even if all population put the money together, they wouldn´t be able to afford a new electricity pole and although the government promised support, it is a mystery if and when they will receive any type of support.
Seeing us living in a world where a light-up home and a hot cup of tea/coffee is just the minimum requirement to start the day right, the biggest wish for Anna´s birthday last year was to make a difference for our friend and team mate Adolf and his village and collect some money for a new electriclity pole for that village!
We raised close to 400$ and could arrange for the material, construction and installation!
It was an absolute wonderful experience to get support from our friends and family from all over the world for something that was so important to us and Uganding!

Benefit Concert
Having a passionate hobby violinist in the Uganding team and with the great support of the “Orquesta de la Universidad Autonoma de Madrid” we put a benefit concert together this spring whose donations were entire targeted for initiating new volunteering and construction projects in Uganda in the schools we are collaborating with.
Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 the concert got cancelled last minute, but as soon as we are allowed to have public gatherings, we will not hesitate to put a similar event together, inspire people with a wonderful concert and beautiful music, and raise money for education projects in Uganda!
Become a Volunteer with us!
If you are inspired and interested to get engaged in the Ugandign movement, reach out to us and we have lots of ideas and thoughts to share with you.
Among others, we would like to extend the initial “rewarding tourism – trip” to up to a month and initiate, drive and coordinate projects in the various schools and organizations we are collaborating with, such as:
- Volunteer at St. Anthony´s Disabled Children Section – little construction projects to make the school area more friendly and usable for kids who are blind, deaf, or in a wheel chair.
- initiate little construction projects at Good Future and Hope such as building a library, a green house, water filters, a medical station etc.
- become an assistant teacher!
- and much more!
